COMPOSITION
Ascoson® Injection : Each mL contains
Ascorbic Acid USP 100 mg

INDICATIONS

• Prevention and treatment of scurvy which is
  characterized by -
  a. Capillary fragility
  b. Swollen inflamed gums
  c. Bleeding (specially from small blood vessels
  and the gums)
  d. Anaemias
  e. Cartilage and bone lesions
  f. Slow healing of wounds
• Idiopathic methemoglobinaemia
• Ascorbic Acid and other nutrient antioxidants have
  been associated with protection against age-related
  cataract formation and macular degeneration.
• A beneficial effect of 'megadose' Ascorbic Acid
  therapy has been claimed for an extraordinary
  number of conditions such as common cold,
  asthma, atherosclerosis, cancer, psychiatric
  disorders, increased susceptibility to infections
  due to abnormal leucocyte function, infertility, and
  osteogenesis imperfecta.
• Ascoson® Syrup is indicated for the prevention
  and treatment of Ascorbic Acid dificiency in infant
  and children.
