Jayson Group of Companies is one of the well-known and oldest names in the healthcare sector of Bangladesh. With manufacturing and marketing units in pharmaceuticals, herbal medicines, veterinary medicines, animal feed additives, poultry hatcheries, fisheries and other related businesses, Jayson is proud of the diversity in its portfolio which enables it to serve many of its customers’ needs locally and internationally.

Jayson Group began its journey with Jayson Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in operation for over 60 years, since 1956, producing medicines for domestic and international markets. Jayson Pharmaceuticals Ltd. was founded by a pharmacist, Mr. Muhammad Salimullah. With the motto “For a better life, and healthy nation”, Jayson has captured a respectable share of the market by producing both lifesaving basic essential medicines, and also high end newer molecules. Due to our technical background and commitment to quality, Jayson has only launched products which are free from serious side effects. Our reputation for quality products has earned us goodwill in Bangladesh and abroad.

Jayson markets goods in Bangladesh through 20 sales offices spread out throughout the country. We ensure that there is a distribution point within 100km of any point in Bangladesh. Serving our customers efficiently and timely is our commitment to them. Our wide distribution network has made grassroots level penetration possible for all our companies.

With our core focus on healthcare, Jayson Group has gradually diversified into herbal medicines, animal health, animal feed, fisheries and poultry hatcheries, which complement our company strategy of serving human and animal healthcare.

Herbal medicine has gained tremendous popularity over the last two decades. As consumers become more aware and health conscious, the demand for natural cures has been on the rise. Recognizing this trend early, Jayson Group acquired a company called Human Drug Laboratories Ltd., a manufacturer of Ayurvedic and Unani medicines. This company was later renamed Jayson Natural Products Ltd. Jayson Natural Products now manufactures 24 herbal medicines, which are sold over the counter as well as prescribed by qualified doctors.

We expanded our herbal product portfolio to include several research products for human consumption and herbal feed additives for poultry and livestock. These research products for animal healthcare included poultry feed supplements that prevent Newcastle disease, Fowl pox, Coryza and Avian Influenza.

The proven efficiency of all our herbal preparations has given us a respectable market share in the industry. We are also exporting our herbal preparations to several countries in Asia at the moment. We see great potential for herbal medicines in the local and global markets.

In addition to herbal medicines and feed additives, Jayson natural Products has also developed consumer products such as Stevia based herbal sweetener, flavoured psyllium husk, fruit syrups (similar to Rooh Afza), ready to use seasoned deep fry batter mix, ready to cook seasoned semolina dessert mix, etc. Each one of these products has been carefully developed to ensure quality. The consumer products are not being extensively marketed yet. We plan to set up a separate marketing team to promote them in the local market.
